The Millenia Tower is a 34-story high-rise residential and commercial condominium in Ortigas Center. The construction of the Millenia Tower started in 2005 with an expected completion year of 2007. In 2008, the turnover of the units to the owners was done. The estimated development cost for this high-rise condominium was P500 million. Millenia Tower has 231 residential units that are divided into 168 studio units, 50 one-bedroom units, 52 two-bedroom units, and 103 three-bedroom units. There are also 231 parking slots, 210 slots for regular parking and 120 slots for tandem parking. This high-rise residential and commercial condominium is owned and developed by Goldland Properties & Development Corp. and was marketed by Edgeworth. Furthermore, Millenia Tower is also known as the Goldland Millenia Suites which is a hotel managed by Crown Regency.
Millenia Tower is located on Saint Escriba Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. It is part of the Ortigas Central Business District where there are several offices, business and corporate centers, hotels, shopping centers, schools, and other high-rise residential condominiums. Some of the establishments in Ortigas Center are the SM Megamall, Shangri-la Plaza, St. Francis Square, The Podium, and Robinsons Galleria. There are also learning institutions in the area like the University of Asia and the Pacific, Poveda Learning Center, and the La Salle Greenhills which is just a few minutes of driving away. Ortigas Center is also near other major cities like Quezon City, Makati City, Taguig City (where Bonifacio Global City is located), and Mandaluyong City. In Millenia Tower, some of the views are those of the mountain ranges in the east, especially the Antipolo and Cainta hills and mountains as well as the Ortigas skyline.
Millenia Tower is owned and developed by the Goldland Group of Companies, founded by Francisco C. Basa in August 1987, with Goldland Properties and Development Corporation as its real estate arm. Since then, Goldland Properties and Development Corporation has been developing real estate properties, some of which are the Goldland Plaza and the Goldland Tower. Other completed and ongoing projects of Goldland Properties and Development Corporation aside from the Millenia Tower in Ortigas are the Metro East Townhomes, an exclusive compound of 43 units in Marikina City; Almanza Metropolis across SM Southmall which is a residential community; Eastwood Townhomes near the Antipolo and Marikina area; Hilton Cebu Resort and Spa, a 246-room residential hotel and resort in Cebu; Portovita which is a residential condomium to be constructed in Araneta Center, Cubao; and more. Aside from Goldland Properties and Development Corporation, other companies involved in the Millenia Tower project is the Hilton Hotel Management Group which manages the condominium. The marketing for the project was done by Edgeworth Properties Inc. Moreover, architecture was done by Edward Co Tan + Artchitects; structural engineering by Aromin + Sy & Associates; electrical engineering by Eduardo H. Tan & Associates; and mechanical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems by Eccentrix Technology Corp.
The construction of Millenia Tower started in 2005 and was completed in 2007. The site area is 955 square meters and it used the conventional and unconventional masonry structures with materials such as glass, steel, and concrete. This high-rise condominium is also divided into two zones, with the low zone allotted for parking facilities, the recreational area, and spaces for commercial use. The upper zone, on the other hand, which is the 8th floor to the 31st floor, has two types of design per unit, the standard design and the compact design. In addition, the 32nd and 33rd floors was allotted for the lower and upper penthouse levels as well as two types of unit designs for the three-bedroom, two-bedroom, and one-bedroom units. There is an additional recreational area on the 34th floor. There is also a water tank deck that occupies 56.95 square meters of area and another lower water tank deck area of 606.65 square meters that accommodate the machine room and the fire exit stair.
The 34-story Millenia Tower stands on a podium footprint of 27.79 meters x 43.80 meters and has two fire escape stairways, one on the side of the elevator and the other on the end of the double-loaded residential corridors. There are also three elevators in this high-rise condominium. A conventional and flat slab system was used for the structural composition of Millenia Tower, while matt footing was used in the foundation.
There are 373 residential units in the Millenia Tower168 studio units, 50 one-bedroom units, 52 two-bedroom units, and 103 three-bedroom units. There are also two kinds of design for the units, the standard design and the compact design. The choices for the units on the 8th to the 31st floors are as follows: for the studio units, 24.10 square meters or the compact design of 18.82 square meters; and for the two-bedroom units, 41.75 square meters or the compact design of 33.90 square meters. In the 32nd and 33rd floors, the three-bedroom units also have the two designs with 91.67 square meters for the standard and 90.89 square meters for the compact design. For two-bedroom units the choices are 94.24 square meters and 76.38 square meters for the standard and compact design, respectively. One-bedroom units have a floor area of 52.24 square meters. The lower and upper penthouse is also located in the 32nd and 33rd floors, with the 34th floors allotted for recreational use.
