Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu is a 25-story high-rise hotel and residential condominium located in Cebu City that is developed by Filinvest Land Incoporated. Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu was constructed in 2007 in a 4,211-square-meter lot, with the levels divided as followscommercial areas in the first, second, and third floors; parking areas for the 4th, 5th and 6th floors; amenities and facilities for the 6th and 7th floors; 11 floors for hotel accomodations in the Quest Hotel Cebu part of the complex and the top seven floors  for residential purposes, the Grand Renia Residences leg of the high rise hotel and residential condominium.

Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu have a total of 112 residential units, 432 hotel units, and two floors of office spaces. The turnover of the residential units in Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu was held in November 2011 while the opening of the Quest Hotel Cebu was held in January 2012. The budget for this high rise hotel and residential condominium was P1.5 billion while the prices of the residential units range from  P5 million to P7 million.

Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu is developed by Filinvest Land Inc., which is a part of the Filinvest Development Corporation, a listed real estate company. Additional members of the project team behind Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu are: R. Villarosa Partners and Associateswhich worked in EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, One McKinley Place, Malayan Plaza, and The Palms Country Clubfor the architecture. For the structural design, Aromin & Sy + Associates, Inc., which is responsible for all the buildings of Rockwell Center, the PBCom Towers, which is the tallest constructed building in the country, Ayala Center Cebu, The Residences at Greenbelt, The Columns at Legazpi, Petron Megaplaza, and SM Megamall. The interior design of Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu were done by C.T. Onglao Architects which worked on the Asia Tower in Hanoi, Serendra Phase 2, Zobel de Ayala Museum, Tagaytay Highlands Condominium, 8 Wack Wack Road Condominiums and The Residences 2. Landscape design was done by H. E. Dimanlig who worked on the landscaping of St. Like’s Hospital and the Filinvest Alabang Center. The MEPF Design was done by VM Design Associates which have clients like SM Mall of Asia, Texas Instruments, The Peninsula Manila, Intercontinental Manila, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and Belle Corporation for Tagaytay Midlands.

CONSTRUCTION

The construction of Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu started in 2007 in  4,211 square meters of land on Archbishop Street corner Apitong Street, Cebu City. The 25 levels of this high-rise hotel and residential condominium are divided into hotel units and residential units. The 7th to 18th floors have studio-type condotel units which have a size of 24.54 square meters. There are also some units that will have an open patio feature and separate receiving areas for guests.

The residential units in Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu are located in seven levels, from the 19th floor to the 25th floor, with units ranging from one-bedroom to  three-bedroom units. The standard size for the one-bedroom unit is 49.98 square meters, 79.97 square meters for the two-bedroom unit, and 107.35 square meters for the three-bedroom unit. A one-bedroom unit will have a dining area, a living area, a receiving area, a kitchen, a main bedroom with private toilet and bath. There are 36 one-bedroom units in Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu. On the other hand, the two-bedroom units have features that include a master’s bedroom with private toilet and bath, secondary bedroom, dining area, kitchen, living area, and receiveing area, as well as a maid’s toilet or utility room and a communal toilet. There are 35 two-bedroom units.

The three-bedroom units have a dining area, kitchen, living area, receiving area, maid’s room or utility room, one regular bedroom, secondary bedroom with private toilet and bath, and a master’s bedroom with private toilet and bath with walk-in closet. There are 14 three-bedroom units in this high-rise hotel and residential condominium.

BUILDING FEATURES AND AMENITIES

The 25-story building of Grand Cenia Residences and Quest Hotel Cebu will have features like bus parking, CCTV security, water and electricity supply, generators, water tanks, and storage facilities. There are also eight high-speed elevators, garbage chutes,  generator sets, a hotel lobby and reception area with a spacious guest lounge, and ready telephone and cable lines.

On basement one and two, there are house parking slots; back-of-the-house area for staff canteen and locker rooms, sewage treatment facilities; water tank; pump rooms; driver’s lounge and area; and storage areas. For the office and commercial floors, there will be a hotel lobby, front desk service, business center, reception area, restaurants, generator set, and transformer room. These are all located on the ground floor. Located on the second and third floors are the corporate and commercial offices and outsourcing spaces. From the 4th to 6th floor, there is a hotel guest parking area, the residential condominium unit’s individual parking slots, function rooms, and generator set. For the floors where the hotel units are located, there are studio-type rooms, an amenity floor with a swimming pool, children’s pool, deck, landscaped garden, function rooms, and a hotel coffee shop.
